After School Programs
Three times a year, coinciding with sports seasons, DDS offers an enriching after school program for children in grades K-5. Class offerings vary each session. Fall classes include Lego building, computer, cooking, yoga, outdoor nature arts and crafts, and Mandarin Chinese. Classes meet for one hour, one day a week, on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday. Students signed up for the program go to the library when school is over and have a snack before being picked up for their 3:30 class. Students attending classes are ready for parent pickup by 4:30. Parents are charged $130 per class for each 10-week session. Lego building is $135 and Mandarin Chinese is a full year class for $390.Parents who cannot pickup their children at regular dismissal time or after a class, may elect to send their children to study hall. Students are provided with a snack and homework help is available. Parents are billed $12.50 per hour beginning at 3:30. Studyhall ends at 5:30.
