Our students have several options for their ongoing education. Some students choose to go on to independent day or boarding schools, others to nearby parochial schools or public high schools. We take pride in the fact that they are well prepared to learn in a variety of settings, that they are independent thinkers and competent communicators, and that they have the confidence to thrive wherever their roads lead.
At DDS, we guide our students and families in exploring all available educational options, both public and independent. Our goal is to empower you with the knowledge and resources needed to make informed decisions about your child’s future.
Beginning in seventh grade, we offer informational events, followed by personalized counseling with our head of school to discuss various options, requirements, and processes. For students considering independent schools, dedicated teachers and advisors provide ongoing support with deadlines, recommendations, and mock interviews.
