Tuition and Financial Aid
Tuition
Our goal is to provide the finest elementary school education for all students. Tuitions are set annually with every effort made to keep our program affordable.
Contracts for newly accepted families in grades K-8 are emailed in late February/early March and subsequent applications are considered on a space-available basis. New preschool families will receive their contracts on a rolling basis as they complete the application and screening process.
Half of the tuition is to be paid by June 15th and the other half by December 1st. Please note that the 10% enrollment deposit will be deducted from the December 1st payment.
Public school districts are obligated to provide bus service for families living within 15 miles of Dutchess Day School. The application deadline is April 1st. Families living outside the 15-mile limit may also be able to obtain public school bus service if there are other families in the district already being bused.
Our busing districts include: Arlington, Dover, Hopewell Junction, Hyde Park, Millbrook, Pine Plains, Rhinebeck, and Webutuck.

Payment Plans
All admission contracts require a 10% non-refundable deposit. On this contract, you may choose from the following three payment options:
Option A: Paid in full by June 15th
Option B: First payment June 15th, second payment December 15th
Option C: FACTS monthly payment plan
For parents who are interested in an alternate payment plan for tuition, Dutchess Day School offers the FACTS/Tuition payment plan. This plan features low interest rates and one-step application, allowing parents to spread payments out over a ten-month period beginning in May. The FACTS/Tuition payment plan may be used alone or in conjunction with a Tuition Assistance award to cover tuition expenses.
Financial Aid
Dutchess Day School is committed to providing equal educational opportunities to all academically qualified students, regardless of their families’ financial situations. To ensure that every deserving student has a chance to attend, the school offers financial aid based on demonstrated need and available resources. The application process includes submitting a Parents’ Financial Statement along with federal tax information, which is reviewed by the confidential Financial Aid Committee. Financial aid requests must be renewed annually and are due in early January, with awards being communicated alongside the enrollment contract. In an effort to streamline the financial aid process for families, we have partnered with Clarity: https://auth.clarityapp.com/en/signup/
