The end of the school year is always a special time, marked by cherished traditions including yearbook signing. Our school`s yearbook is created by students themselves, making it an even more personal and meaningful memento.

Surprising the students with some scrumptious Ben and Jerry`s ice cream during the final week of school is an absolute delight!

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the first-grade book drive and made donations to support the Astor Learning Center. Our amazing 1st graders were able to purchase a lot of items for donation, which are sure to be put to great use! Thank you again for joining us in making a difference in our community!

Our annual Field Day was a roaring success for the Blue and White Tigers! Students gathered on the fields to participate in various games and activities, fostering a sense of competition, camaraderie, and laughter. The day was filled with smiles, cheering, and high-fives as students challenged themselves and encouraged their peers. It was a fantastic reminder of the importance of play, teamwork, and the joy that comes from being part of the DDS community.

The eighth graders had an incredible opportunity to learn about sound design using analog synthesizers from Michael Klvana, a true industry professional with an extensive career in music. Mr. Klvana has worked with many legendary artists including Billy Joel, Hall and Oats, the Rolling Stones, and Crosby Stills Nash and Young.
